Holloween Spooktacular 2010

EVENTS:

Glitz or Natural Beauty (Mandatory) – Your beauty score is broken up into three sub-categories: facial beauty, attire (defined further as how the contestant’s choice of attire flatters them color, fit and style), and personality including eye contact (defined further as a genuine smile and overall presentation on stage). Glitz contestants may wear any type of dress that is flattering to their age and body-type. Glitz beauty dresses, flower girl style, baby doll style, ball gowns etc. are all acceptable types of dresses. Glitz contestants can wear hair pieces, make up, false lashes and flippers as well as spray tan. Natural contestants may not wear cupcake style glitz dresses. You may wear a custom dress, but not a glitz beauty dress. If you are competing as a natural contestant you may spray tan, but no hairpieces, flippers, false lashes, or makeup of any kind (with the exception of clear lip gloss).  Time limit for the beauty event is 2 minutes.

Outfit of Choice (OOC) – You may choose what type of outfit and modeling style the contestant feels most comfortable with. Both runway and pro-am type modeling is acceptable. Some examples of choice for this event are casual wear, swim wear, western wear, sportswear, holiday themed wear etc. Restrictions on hair and makeup are the same as in beauty as per the separation of glitz and natural contestants. Bring your own music on CD. Time limit for this event is 2 minutes.

Costume Wear – Have fun with this event! Fake hair and make up is allowed for both Glitz and Natural contestants. Dress up in your favorite costume and choose your modeling style. Bring your own music on CD. Time limit for this event is 2 minutes.

Glitz/Pageant Photo – These are retouched photos. Color or black and white is acceptable. You may enter extra photos for $10 each. The judges will choose their favorite natural photo and score this one.

Natural Photo – These are non-retouched photos. Color or black and white is acceptable. You may enter extra photos for $10 each. The judges will choose their favorite natural photo and score this one.

AWARDS:

New England Beauties Glitz Grand Supreme –
The one glitz contestant with the highest supreme score (beauty and there two highest scoring optional with only 1 photo score allowed) will receive a $400 bond great prizes as well as a large crown and custom embroidered Grand Supreme sash.

New England Beauties Natural Grand Supreme –
The one natural contestant with the highest supreme score (beauty and there two highest scoring optional with only 1 photo score allowed) will receive a $400 bond great prizes as well as a large crown and custom embroidered Grand Supreme sash.

Two (2) New England Beauties Mini Supremes – (0-7) and (8 and up)
The two contestants (pulled from either glitz or natural) in these age breakdowns with the second highest supreme scores will receive a $200 bond, great prizes as well as a large  crown and custom embroidered Mini Supreme sash.

Eight (8) Age Division Supremes – (0-23m), (2-3), (4-5), (6-7), (8-9),
(10-12), (13-15) & (16 & up) – 30 day grace period
The contestant in each of the above divisions (pulled from either natural or glitz) with the highest supreme score after the Grand and Mini Supreme winners are bumped out will receive a large crown, custom embroidered sash and age-appropriate, quality prizes.

Eight (8) Division Glitz Beauty Queens – (0-23m), (2-3), (4-5), (6-7), (8-9), (10-12), (13-15) & (16 & up)
The contestant in each of the above glitz divisions with the highest supreme score after the Grand and Mini Supreme winners and age division supreme are bumped out will receive a large crown, custom embroidered sash and a gift.

Eight (8) Division Natural Beauty Queens – (0-23m), (2-3), (4-5), (6-7), (8-9), (10-12), (13-15) & (16 & up)
The contestant in each of the above natural divisions with the highest supreme score after the Grand and Mini Supreme winners and age division supreme are bumped out will receive a large crown, custom embroidered sash and a gift.

Age Division Princesses – (0-23m), (2-3), (4-5), (6-7), (8-9),
(10-12), (13-15) & (16 & up)
The remaining contestants in each of the above glitz and natural divisions will receive a crown, custom embroidered sash and a gift.
